The Social Media Intern will work alongside the marketing team to assist in the management and growth of the company’s social media presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and scheduling social media content, monitoring social media channels, and analyzing social media metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond as needed.
- Conduct research and gather data to support social media campaigns.
- Analyze social media metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the management of social media advertising campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with current social media trends and best practices.
- Attend meetings and provide creative input for various projects.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a marketing, communications, or related program.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Experience with social media management and content creation.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
