CIIE.CO, the Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship at IIM Ahmedabad, has launched India’s first People and Culture Accelerator (PCA) to empower 30 startups. The three-month intensive program will cater to startups from pre-series A to series B stages and will include an immersive boot camp at the IIM Ahmedabad campus, tailored mentoring, and various other benefits to address critical HR-related challenges such as hiring, performance management, attrition, and formalization.
“The PCA is a first-of-its-kind program in India that will address the critical HR challenges faced by startups,” said Nirav Choksi, CEO of CIIE.CO. “We believe that a strong people and culture foundation is essential for startups to scale successfully, and the PCA will provide them with the tools and resources they need to build a high-performing team.”
The PCA will be led by a team of experienced HR professionals from CIIE.CO and IIM Ahmedabad. The program will cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Hiring: How to attract and hire top talent
- Performance management: How to set clear expectations and track performance
- Attrition: How to reduce employee turnover
- Formalization: How to create a formal HR structure
The PCA will also include a number of networking and mentorship opportunities. Startups will have the chance to connect with other startups, HR professionals, and investors. They will also receive one-on-one mentoring from experienced HR professionals.
The PCA is open to startups from all industries. To apply, startups must submit a brief application and answer a few questions. The deadline for applications is August 31, 2023.
“We are excited to launch the PCA and help startups build a strong people and culture foundation,” said Choksi. “We believe that this program will be a valuable asset for startups as they scale their businesses.”
